TAROT OF THE 78 DOORS REVIEW
The Tarot of the 78 Doors is a deck of symbolic and physical doors. It can be seen in both a modern and fantasy design. By the very same musician that developed the Gay Tarot with Lee Bursten.
There is never a day that goes by without us using a door in our lives. Doors are a constant part of our lives. We have become so used to them that they are no longer symbolic. The door is a symbol of flow. It is often used to signify a flow in many societies.
Antonella Platano was the artist who introduced the Gay Tarot. She is the principal behind the Tarot of the 78 Doors. Although her new deck has the same artistic design, the significance of secrets and doors is shown in this city-like atmosphere with tattoo parlors and computer systems.
The cards are embedded in a dream environment. The cards have a modern appearance with fewer than twenty. They also show medical facilities, doctors, and other treatments. The Ten of Swords reveals a white-coated acupuncturist with an uncomfortable-looking individual existing with a wide range of needles in his back. The Four of Chalices depicts a slender male who sags before the television, with a packet of chips in his lap and the remote in his other hand. The Six of Swords male rests at his workdesk, where he is working on a computer system that has a 19-inch LCD monitor.
TAROT OF THE 78 DOORS CARD DETAILS
Human faces of all ages can be attracted to and resemble special people. The 78 Doors’ Tarot scenes are not exactly the same as Rider-Waite, and there is no description of the choices made. The Three of Swords shows a woman sticking pins into a voodoo doll. This is an alternative to the pain I’d normally associate with that card. The Chariot, who rides a white convertible, is a rock star and a celebrity before a group of people. A few cards also have scenes that are so different from each other, I had trouble identifying what they were meant to represent. One card, The Seven of Pentacles, was one of my favorites. It’s called “The continuous dedication to understanding individual goals triggers rashness as well wish”. In the photo, a happy and well-dressed female stands in front of a door and launches a white dove out of her arms. Two farmers are far away.
The friend pamphlet contains more information than normal for Lo Scarabeo decks. It also includes unique divinatory definitions for each card. These definitions can sometimes seem a bit out of place with the images.
