LOVERS PATH TAROT CARD DETAILS
One area where The Lover’s Path Tarot surpasses other Tarots I’ve seen is its packaging. The cards, naturally they are housed inside their own cardboard case that includes the small white book (little white books) and an additional book with 162 pages and the basic layout scroll. The book, case and slipcover for cards are all in burgundy, with an embossed winged and crowned hearts creating a sense of unification. The book is full of color and includes short explanations on each card as well as additional sources, a variety of layouts, and a guide to card references. A few of these details are useful, for instance, the heavy cardboard case that houses both the deck, and scroll features a hinged flange which is secured with Velcro pads, meaning you won’t have any chance of tearing or breaking the book at any moment. If you have many Tarot decks and trade among the various decks will be grateful for this. If the deck’s presentation has an almost ornate Italian Renaissance feeling to it The artwork on the cards are Pre-Raphaelite with pastel hues sharp lines and generally flat perspectives. The cards are all well thought out and executed, though they are sometimes lacking in details. Certain cards are more than the norm. For example, the Prince of Arrows, Ace of Staves, Desire, Grace Awakening: this is art of a very high standard. It’s perfect for pathworking and other similar techniques, if it fits your preferences, as well as meditation, tarot-reading or simply admiration, should you prefer these. For purposes of reading, The Lover’s Path Tarot is a great tool for romantic issues.
