JOURNEY INTO EGYPT TAROT REVIEW
The Journey into Egypt Tarot features 78 highly dynamic, realistic images created by the talented artist Julie Cuccia-Watts. The deck mixes an Ancient Egyptian calendar, her system of astrology, and tarot in a way that is incredibly skilled and is among the few decks that show the variety that is Egypt’s Ancient Egyptian population.
The deck is based on the traditional tarot layout comprising the 78 card deck (56 minor Arcana as well as the 22 Major Arcana). A majority of Major Arcana retain their traditional names.

The suits include Wands, Swords, Cups and Coins. The previous deck of tarot by the artist The MAAT was a deck that used Fire as Swords while Air was used for Wands. Given it appears in the JET, the King of Swords is portrayed as an image of a Roman military leader, seated against a fiery backdrop , and the Ace of Swords depicts flames, I would possibility that the similar attributions are utilized in this instance.
The shape, design, and size are similar to those of MAAT the MAAT: square, large and shiny. They are also extremely flexible (good for shuffling riffles) and slippery…a little too slippery I think be careful when you are using them along those banks along the Nile river. Based on the artwork of the creator they measure 4.45 inches by 5.5 inches. I believe that the image is clearer and more sharp than the ones found on MAAT.
In my opinion, the cards should have a significant length, like they do the capacity to be the most effective “canvas” for the powerful artwork, particularly the numerous detail-oriented, movie-like tableaux in the minors.
