DARKANA TAROT REVIEW

This deck is this deck, the Original Edition deck, unopened. It is the Darkana Tarot is a post-modern grunge-style tarot created as illustrated and designed by the illustrator Janden Hale. The deck includes 79 cards. Hale included an added Major Arcana card as number 23 “The Badass”. It has the same traditional cards, which are the standard Major Arcana cards, with two notable variations that were changed from Strength to Fortitude, and Prudence was replaced with Judgement.

DARKANA TAROT CARD DETAILS

The change in the names of the two cards were made to represent the meaning of the 4 Cardinal Virtues (fortitude as well as temperance, justice, and Prudence) and all of them are found in the majority of decks in the form of strength, justice temperance, and judgment. The deck that has won awards has been selected as an element of the “Top 50 Essential Tarot Decks”.
